Design takes shape in Portanuova
Milan Design Week was a busy week packed with meetings that cemented Milan’s status as the international capital of design — and which marked a particularly significant moment for True.
For the first time, we welcomed clients, partners and industry professionals to True Place, our new permanent space in Porta Nuova, a space designed to authentically convey our identity and our evolution. Throughout the week, the showroom became the focal point for the presentation of our 2026 collection: products that express our approach to contemporary design through formal balance, sartorial attention to detail, material research and a focus on sustainability.
True showcased its new collections through a series of events and presentations featuring internationally renowned designers. The stars of the show were Leonardo Rossano, Norm Architects and Claesson Koivisto Rune, whose presence transformed the True space into a hub for interaction and dialogue, sharing a vision of increasingly fluid, welcoming spaces that seamlessly blend work, hospitality and home life.
Alongside its permanent exhibition space, True also played a leading role in Fuorisalone, with a widespread presence across the city.
At the Eleventy boutique in Via della Spiga, the Farfalla armchairs, designed by Orlandini Design, interacted with the brand’s universe, interpreting the symbol of the butterfly — a defining element shared by fashion and design — within a retail setting of great elegance.
At the Qu Lighting space in Via Cernaia, our products helped to create an environment where lighting and furnishings blend seamlessly to tell a coherent story of atmosphere and design quality.
True was also a partner in the exhibition ‘over and over and over and over’, hosted at the Piscina Romano in collaboration with 6A:M: an exhibition project that explored an iconic urban space through installations and interdisciplinary influences.
A multifaceted presence, both within and beyond True Place, which has strengthened our dialogue with our international community and forged new connections.
Milan remains a strategic and cultural hub for us. With this new permanent space, True reaffirms its commitment to maintaining a year-round presence in the city, transforming Design Week from an annual event into an ongoing platform for connection and vision.
