What is CMF

Colours, Materials and Finishes: CMF

Colours, Materials and Finishes reduced to CMF, three letters that draw inspiration from the senses such as: feeling, seeing, but also our emotions and the instinctive perceptions of our everyday life, codifying them and giving them a form, a canon, a way of analyzing them and, consequently, designing them.

Three words that reveal a world of combinable colours, as well as materials that give shape to the idea, and the finishes that complete it. Infinite customization possibilities, conveyed through colour identities, tactile appearance and aesthetic components.

Narrative colours

There are millions of images to which we are constantly, daily exposed. Photos, videos, drawings, advertisements; from monitors, paper, social media, posters and, let us not forget, even our view of the world. It is precisely our retina that accumulates information, that uses colour as language and as visual extraction. From this synthesis, CMF was born.

Changing the perception of a space

The CMF method identifies and develops an intelligent system of colours, materials and finishes that simplify the creation of stimulating environments. The colour becomes a coherent yet changeable language of the object, covering it with an aesthetic that enhances it and changes its characteristics.

From inspiration to design

We will help you transform the feelings created by the images you fall in love with into a working tool.

By using our colour palettes for your projects.

Uses of CMF

The integration of creativity, research and production is crucial to the success of a furniture collection and, often, the well-built connection between the different areas requires an open and unconventional approach. It is in this way that True Design has chosen to adopt CMF, a design methodology typical of industrial design which works and

combines chromatic, tactile and decorative identity of products and spaces. A method also applicable to interior design, which can also be adopted in the construction of concepts, mood boards and communication strategies. A tool for all-round design.
