Luciano Dell'Orefice
Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 1976 to Italian parents, Luciano Dell’Orefice studied architecture at the EPFL in Lausanne from 1997 to 1999. He graduated with a degree in ‘Industrial and Product Design’ from the ECAL University of Art and Design in Lausanne in 2005. In 2004, he began his professional career working as a junior designer at Patricia Urquiola’s studio in Milan.
In 2007, he opened his own studio specialising in product design, exhibitions and interiors in Lausanne. He combines his work as a designer with that of a research lecturer at art and design schools in Geneva and Lausanne.
His work spans various fields, including product design, furniture, and interior and urban design.
His projects have been exhibited in international museums and galleries, such as the mudac in Lausanne, Galerie Kreo in Paris, the Istituto dei Cecchi in Milan and the Salone del Mobile 2012.
